I'm in the process of redoing chandeliers in some fun bright designs. The weather was nice enough to get some painting done outside and, as you can see, I've made quite a mess. If you haven't tried Valspar Project Perfect paint and primer all in one, I highly recommend it! I've bought it in several colors in the past week and every one of them have worked great, and it saves me a step!
This chair is waiting for a good home. It has been donated to A Place to Sleep, one of my favorite charities that supplies beds for children who have no place to lay their heads at night :(. This chair will be one of the many auction items at the Trick or Drink fundraiser held at Talon Winery on October 29. Please join us for the event. Donate an item to be auctioned or a bid on an item. There's a long waiting list of children who don't have a proper bed for a good nights sleep and A Place to Sleep is in desperate need of more mattresses for the frames and bedding they already have. Let us know if you can help! More details to follow!!
This chair was also on this weeks agenda. It's another salvage piece and, with a little patching, a coat of paint, a few polka dots, a new seat and fabric, it's ready for sale! So I'm on my way to see Mark once again at Crescent Hill TRADING COMPANY!
HOLD THE DATE!
Mark will be holding his Christmas Open House the beginning of November with lots of new repurposed one-of-a-kind items! More details to follow!
If mom gets a good night's sleep, that will benefit the child. And you can help...!
Off to Montreat to volunteer as Community Life Coordinator for the week... Looking forward to playing!!
